Review of The Fountainhead (1949) by Carol F — 08 Aug 2010
Overly melodramatic melange of romance and objectivism with incredible sets and cinematography. Gary Cooper is great as usual; Patricia Neal overacts. Ellsworth Toohey IS Ayn Rand in real life (read "Ayn Rand and the World She Made" by Anne Conover Heller.
) And Gail Wynand is a tool.
