Review of The Fountainhead (1949) by Richard B — 22 Apr 2008
Classic! Classic! CLASSIC!!! I am a huge fan of Ayn Rand and her philosophy. This is a quite well done adaptation of her book â??The Fountainheadâ?? written in 1943. It is a story about Howard Roark, young architect, who chooses to struggle in obscurity rather than compromise his artistic and personal vision by pandering to the prevailing taste in building design.
I will admit: I like the book better, but just because I am a fan of Miss Rand â?? I like the movie as well.
