Review of The Fountain (2006) by Ryan G — 28 Sep 2013
A cinematic poem that's a testament to the true eternity of life within our experiences and memories. Aranofsky's accomplishment is a visual marvel with some sequences that may not be clearly understood, but therein lies the enigmatic nature of life.
Hugh Jackman delivers a heart-wrenching performance that was sadly overlooked by Oscar and Clint Mansell's score is one of the best of cinema.
