Review of The Founder (2016) by Adam H — 20 Jun 2017
"Franchise, the dam thing" - Ray Kroc (franchising creator of McDonald's).
A very interesting, tense, entertaining, game changer. Michael Keaton's performance is superb from beginning to end. His magnetic display at the center of a smart, satisfying biopic about a burger franchise that all began from two brothers in California.
It's surprisingly, a very hard watch with it's greediness that surrounds it all. John Lee Hancock (Saving Mr Banks), directs The Founder Film that features the true story of how Ray Kroc greases himself in greed at the expense of those around him to get his hands round a whopper of a business. Hancock does a excellent job and produces a meal that we can all enjoy.
#TheFounder.
