Review of The Forgotten (2004) by Steve S — 06 Jun 2010
** (out of four).
A pretty silly thriller that fails to thrill, but doesn't fail to bore.
Julianne Moore plays a woman whose son dies in a plane crash several months ago. She is haunted by his memory, but is told by everyone around her that she is delusional and that her son never existed at all. She spemds her time searching desperately for evidence that he was real and that she is not crazy.
The film tries hard to be something different, but while doing that it fails to captivate or even to remain coherent.
