This whole movie is nonsensical. The plot of this film makes no sense. It's straight-up boring and the story makes no sense. Basically, it goes like this: Mother loves her son, day(s) later her son is missing and everybody else for no logical reason all of sudden forgets that she has a son and can't find any evidence that she even has a son.

Then suddenly and coincidentally her friend Ash forgets his own daughter and she is suddenly missing and nowhere to be found. Then when she goes to his house, she tries to convince him that they have kids that are missing and that she isn't insane.

He doesn't believe her and thinks she's gone mentally ill and calls the police on her so they can take her to a mental hospital or to a shrink or psychiatrist. The police take her away, then soon, all of a sudden, he remembers that he does have a daughter and that she is missing.

He prevents her from getting taken away by the police. Then there is some strange, mysterious, creepy man who stalks her and may have something to do with her lost child. Some people suddenly get quickly sucked away sky high and completely vanish off the phase of the Earth for no apparent reason.

In the third act, she confronts the strange, creepy, mysterious man and finds her son in the same building as him, but he can't remember her at all. A bunch of weird stuff happens there. Then all of a sudden it turns out that everything that happened all turned out to be in her imagination.

She basically just had a extended fantasy of the entire world forgetting her son and him missing. So in the end, she is at his son's school playground and finds her son safe and happy. Ash's daughter is playing at the playground too.

She meets Ash (whom has no knowledge of her extended fantasy) at the playground and Ash happily introduces himself to her. She happily introduces herself to him too. They start to become friends. The end.

Very dumb, illogical, boring, and forgettable movie with an incoherent story. The only good things about this movie were the great performances (especially from Julianne Moore and Dominic West) and some of the cast (Julianne Moore and Dominic West).

This movie is just a complete waste of time. I highly do not recommend this film.
