Good concept to explore the psychological aspects of the forest (which if you didn't know is a real place) but it didn't explore enough. The movie always feels like it's about to build up to something, but it gives nothing or a cheap jumpscare.

There's quite a few jumpscares and they get annoying and eventually boring. The characters aren't that interesting and the protagonist is very dim-witted you just want to scream at the screen.

The movie knew what it wanted to be, but it wasn't executed well.
