The scares are jump and scare-type ones, which works and creates anxiety. What I liked about the movie is that it is different in terms of plot. The twin idea makes it seem like you know what is coming, but then it changes and changes and you realize the movie isn't really about twins; it's about self-punishment or guilt.

I would have liked to have seen a little more character/inner demon development but this movie wasn't bad. I am afraid to say that, like The Grudge, this movie has the potential for a sequal.
