What I got to say about the first horror movie of the brand new year "The Forest" is not that bad of a horror film to come out in the first week in January. "For my opinion, it's frightening right to the core, has some good scares, jaw dropping, and edge of your seat nerve racking.

" The performances by the whole cast is good. "Natalie Dormer is outstanding!" The directing by Jason Zada is fine. "Mr. Zada clearly shows the audience that he has the passion for the horror genre.

" The screenplay by Sarah Cornwell, Nick Antosca and Ben Ketai is fine. The cinematography is okay but some shaking cam. Finally, the effects is fine. "I have to report that "The Forest" really got to me right to my core.

Now for other may not have a impact but is a movie that can possible give you the chills.".
