Review of The Forest (2016) by Ohsnappage . — 11 Aug 2016
It was a decent horror film, sadly lacked originality by incorporating the campy scare tactics to keep the film going. The horror aspect of the film should have gone to the wayside as it drifted more on thrills, but sadly it left little to our own imagination and we get force fed horror which we kinda have to believe is believable to the character? It was fun to watch, but the story fell short.
The characters are likable, with the exception of the creepy japanese characters that 'know something' that the main character doesn't know about the myth & find it...funny? Huh?
