The forest could've been something special and it has an intriguing promise but the movie really doesn't go anywhere. Instead it falls into your usual horror clichés fake jump scares, creepy ghosts, and characters who make one dumb decision after another.
The performances were OK but at the end of the movie more questions are raised then answered. Subpar ending as well.
