Review of The Forest (2016) by Nina D — 16 Jan 2016

I loved it! Great story, the hallucinations she kept having on the forest was what creeped me the hell out. At one point even I was wondering if anything that happened was even real or not, even during he real scenes.

And of course, Natalie Dormer couldn't have played her part any better. I was a little bummed to see that Jess was alive and kicking the entire time. Like hello, that doesn't make any sense. Why didn't the forest fuck her up? A horror movie in the forest is so scary, the loud and creepy noises, all those shadows of trees in the moonlight.

Amazing scenery. I would have given 5 stars but they failed to keep the momentum high and chance they were given to make a masterpiece. I was all alone in the theatre watching this movie so the jump scares really got to me.
