Review of The Forest (2016) by Ky K — 05 May 2016

You know when a movie has a really solid idea and then fails in every way possible? No recent horror film does that better than The Forest.

While I could talk about how intriguing the idea is (especially since this is a real place), I think it is more important to demonstrate that the film makers took a serious topic and both glamorized it and made it seem like a joke all at once.

I'll end by saying it doesn't matter if the lead actress is from Game of Thrones, throwing a wig on someone and calling them their own twin just doesn't work in this case.
