Review of The Forest (2016) by Michael D — 09 Oct 2016
Not a terrible concept for a horror movie - at least there weren't teenagers having sex then immediately being assaulted by a man in a hockey mask or some such iconic stuff. Mix a semblance of a psychological drama, some minor nuance, limited CGI, and a somewhat original screenplay together and you get this watchable but indifferent flick.
Worth it on a lonely, cold night in Chicagoland.
