Traditional and competent, some would say maybe a little dull, "The Foreigner" is an intermittently thrilling and consistently entertaining terrorist revenge thriller, set in a bleak Northern Ireland and London.
The story is surprisingly nuanced and manages to unfold in an interesting way. The action scenes are sparse but really good. Recommended if you want an old fashioned action thriller.
