Review of The Foreigner (2017) by Spacevulture — 21 Feb 2018
Jackie Chan has acting chops. I didn't even know that until this movie. He is so good at showing the torment of a Father who has lost his wife and three children in heart wrenching ways. The action pieces featuring his unique brand of fighter are even better as a realistically older/experience ex-special forces beating the opponents while getting quite hurt himself.
Pierce Brosnan was quite good as a Irish freedom fighter/terrorist turned politician. The thriller portion isn't the best I've seen, but it was quite engaging and the wife and I really felt pleased with the ending and the movie as a whole.
