By the numbers revenge action thriller starring Brosnan and Chan. It's a well produced film that takes its plot seriously, adding an IRA bomb plot flavour into the mix. Campbell's kinetic action scenes at times reminded me of casino royale.
Overall The Foreigner is 'that' style of revenge action thriller that I have seen so many times you know exactly what you're getting... this is the films greatest strength and weakness.
