The Foreigner was a good action and suspense movie. All tied up into a political conflict and personal tragedies. It surely wasn't a typical J. Chan, but it was really fun to see him in a more dramatic context with more acting skills demanded of him.
The actors were pretty solids. The action was more smart then throwing punches and kicks. Maybe the political side will bore some peoples, but it makes the drama of the movie so much more plausible. The morale is also very variable depending on the point of view.
I give it a 70%.
