Review of The Foreigner (2017) by Latincritic13 — 21 Oct 2017
Seeing Jackie Chan in action once again in The Foreigner really packs a punch for this movie. It’s fantastic seeing Mr. Chan himself kicking ass in this gritty R rated action flick directed by Casino Royale’s Martin Campbell.
The choreography, cinematography, direction, and performances of this film really added some nice flare to this film, but at the same time, it had a huge flaw that dragged me too much that I actually have difficulties seeing this movie and it has to do with the story.
For those who saw Jason Bourne, you’ll understand me. The setup of this story is too simple to predict. Overall, The Foreigner is worth checking out, and to be honest, it’s pretty rad that Jackie Chan is still pulling more tricks on his sleeve for this gritty film and it's even better than Jason Bourne.
