Review of The Foreigner (2017) by Aj C — 12 Oct 2017
Jackie Chan is exceptionally brilliant in the role of an aging humble dad relentless in pursuit of terrorists who murdered his daughter. From set up to script to action scenes, this is a thriller without the usual gratuitous violence .
It's the best of Jackie and Jackie's films. Pierce Brosnan is exceptional in the role of a villain and Martin Campbell's direction impeccable as was the film's final resolution. This is an Oscar quality film and perhaps the best action movie of this year.
Loved it. Spellbinding..
