Forbidden Kingdom has a really corny story, but it's also a whole lot of fun. It was nice to see Jackie Chan and Jet Li in a movie and the fight between the two in the film is nice and rewarding and fortunately not for just a couple minutes. I can't say I'm really a fan of Michael Angarano though, but I thought the Karate Kid element to the story actually worked and he gives a solid performance here as well. Good cheesy fun even if that's all it is, but it is solid popcorn entertainment.
