Review of The Forbidden Kingdom (2008) by Douglas R — 13 Dec 2009

Much better than expected. Great to see Jackie Chan and Jet Li together, and the choreography was fantastic, as were the costumes and sets (very high production value). Loved the variety of combat styles and weaponry (even hair!) and the look of the whole thing.

Slightly weak story, but only real problem was the American lead. Still, I'd expected him be a complete pain in the a**e, but he wasn't too bad.
