This could have been a great movie, but it just didn't make it on my list. There is such a great line up of chinese actors that I love! Jackie Chan is funny as always,he's the only reason I finished the movie.

The action was good, not crazy good. Being a Journey to the west fan since I was old enough to walk, I actually hated the plot. The lead actor (the boy) was mediocre and made the whole movie feel cheesy.

I found Jet Li's portrayal of the money king very unimpressive and hollywoods take on it VERY disappointing. The script was meh and did not do justice for the actors, because I know how great they are.
