Review of The Forbidden Kingdom (2008) by Daniel S — 05 Aug 2012

The story was really cool, the reference to the drunken master film that Jackie Chan did earlier in his career was genius and Let Li was awesome as the Monk/The Monkey King. I thought the ending was good too, especially the bit about Jackie Chan's character. The locations were awesome, and the acting was very well done, my only qualm was that it didn't have Subtitles for the non-english parts!

All in all it was worthy tribute to Kung-Fu films everywhere.
