Review of The Football Factory (2004) by Stuart C — 08 Nov 2007

I didn't catch all of this film, but what I did see didn't have much focus on actual football - which I was glad about because I'm not a fan. I did enjoy this film, but it does still kinda glorify gang culture a bit.

You could argue that it doesn't, but I think the fact that it concludes itself with a sort of comedic summary of what the characters are doing now kinda leaves it with this glorification element. We see that the protagonist is still up for footie and a fight, and its meant to be funny.

. I'm not sure whether I agree or not. But I enjoyed the film.
