Review of The Foot Fist Way (2006) by Aron K — 29 Sep 2008
I was so excited for this movie. The trailer was hilarious and I love Danny McBride in pretty much anything. While McBride's performance was perfect, the other performances weren't so good. The plot was pretty stale though and the movie felt longer than it was.
Some of the kids were great at Tae Kwon Do but I wanted to laugh, not marvel at a few decent board-breakings. The concept was great but it didn't feel fully realized. Overall there weren't enough laughs to put this in my comedy classic section, but it was relatively enjoyable.
