Review of The Foot Fist Way (2006) by Richard B — 13 Dec 2008
I've started to really like Danny McBrider recently, he's stolen scenes in Tropic Thunder, Pineapple Express, and other recent films. This is first staring film and is slightly older then his others.
It has a big Napolean Dynamite feel as its an extremely small indie comedy. It does have a lot of funny one-liners and the language is offensive and very funny as hell at times, but gets old. Danny McBride is great but the film itself is nothing special and the plot and directing isn't that good.
Overall a funny short film, that you will enjoy if you like Danny McBride otherwise you won't.
