I was really looking forward to 'The Foot Fist Way' ever since I first saw it previewed on Conan one night. I think Danny McBride is super funny but being his first real work, 'The Foot Fist Way' was simply mediocre.
It had a real 'Napoleon Dynamite' feel to it and that helped, but all in all, the funny moments don't outweigh the drag and unfunny moments. If I had to recommend this film to someone, it would be to people who know Danny McBride's name and are pleased by his comedy.
