Review of The Fog of War (2003) by Iain J — 13 Aug 2007
The last sixty years of American foreign policy are picked over by Robert McNamara. The images and the hindsight of history are what drives this interesting documentary along, and the lessons of his life should are interestingly presented.
The only drawbacks of this film is the reluctance of McNamara to give us his true feelings on certain topics, such as the war in Vietnam. He clams up and refuses to go a little further at times.
