Review of The Fog (2005) by Jake P — 14 Jun 2009
Boring...boring, and... boring. Seriously, this is a very lousy and dull film. First of all, it is totally pointless to create a remake of a John Carpenter film, unless you wanna ruin the decent reputation of the original.
John Carpenter's version wasn't even that good to begin with so there was little hope to create a clean and suspensful remake. The film is little scary and the effects are absolutely unspectacular.
The actors do their best but the whole film doesn't leave much space for great performances. In my opinion, it's quite to enough to have seen the Carpenter version.
