Great location and story, creepy atmosphere, creepy music. The Fog (1980) is an awesome movie. If you like horror and supernatural films, you'll definitely like this film. It is about a glowing fog that invades a 1980's Northern California seaside community, and within the fog are the ghosts of shipwrecked sailors from 1880 seeking revenge for their deaths.
This film has a really creepy atmosphere, probably one of the best in the horror genre. It is one of John Carpenter's best films, and one of the best horror films in general. Recommended.
