This is an independent movie made about 6 years ago for very low budget, it was just shown at the California Independent Film Festival and received excellent reviews.
I really liked it because it appealed to our whole family :
10-year-old boy who loves adventure movies.
15-year-old boy who knows what he's missing in Disney adventures movies and didn't miss anything in this movie.
17-year-old girl who looks for dramatic movies that challenge her to think.
Wife - generally prefers comedy or drama instead of adventures, but enjoyed the life lessons learned by our kids through this movie.
Me - enjoys documentaries and "based on a true story" films.
