This is a much better movie from the vintage of Almod�³var's oeuvre... more superior than his previous self-indulgence KIka or Tie Me up! Tie Me Down! "The Flower of My Secret" probably the most satisfying of Almodovar's fable due to its realistic portrayal of a full blown emotional marital conflict faced by its pratagonist ...perfectly played by the gorgeous Marisa Paredes...

And when I thought Almodovar couldn't surprise me anymore, there comes in one of the scene, when the pratagonist Leo tells about the story of her books...in a strange Deja Vu... only I realized it is indeed the storyline of Almod�³var's Volver... which he made 10 years later... Lost for words...
