Review of The Flock (2007) by Nicole B — 26 Feb 2008
Heavy subject matter. Pretty engaging acting from Gere but unfortunately like most Hollywood movies, the execution of this one is all too stylistic and predictable.
'The Flock' is the English directorial debut of Andrew Lau who's responsible for the highly acclaimed Infernal Affairs.
While the film has its gripping moments, a less stylized and more down-to-earth treatment to it would've made a lot more impact.
