Review of The Five-Year Engagement (2012) by Dan T — 16 Oct 2012
The Five-Year Engagement's biggest strength is the chemistry between Segel and Blunt (whom I love). I was expecting a few more laughs but found the film to be quite touching and heart-felt. I sincerely hope this is a breakout role for Chris Pratt, who absolutely owns every scene he's in, along with co-star Alison Brie.
Some scenes drag on a bit, and the movie as a whole could be shortened considerably, but all-in-all it was an enjoyable movie with a good message about marriage and love.
