Five year engagement is a rom com about the lives of Tom (segel) and Violet (blunt) in their turmoils to try and get married. Needless to say their wedding keeps getting delayed and delayed mainly due to work commitments and infidelity problems.

The relationship begins to strain and ultimately they end up breaking off the engagement only to move away from eachother and decide it's not what they both want. Few funny moments but pretty average movie.

Segel and Blunt have chemistry with eachother but its not enough to push the movie above any others in the rom/com genre. See if you enjoyed, love sex and other drugs, friends with kids.
