Review of The Five-Year Engagement (2012) by Paul B — 13 Dec 2012

Drags on over a painful two hours that just doesn't seem to end, hardly contains any wit with laughs few and far in between, and two unlikable protagonists thumping on through their terribly uninteresting relationship played by Emily Blunt and Jason Segel, who demonstrate plenty of on screen chemistry, but even that can't cause this movie to escape the plodding pace at which this film eventually makes its way around to the predictable, inevitable.

.. You'll get a lot more out of watching Bridesmaids a sixth or seventh time.
