Review of The Five-Year Engagement (2012) by David G — 22 Apr 2013
If you've seen any number of the 579 Judd Apatow-produced comedies that have come out in the last 6 years or so then you know exactly what you're in for with The Five-Year Engagement - sentiment, improv, filthy mouths, raunchy jokes, family members/friends who are quite clearly insane and hilarious sex scenes with sheets and/or clothes (?) conveniently covering all the naughty bits.
You know exactly how the film will play out and you know exactly how it will end, but you'll have a fun enough time getting there. A good no-brainer to help kill some time... and kill some time it will, being approximately 4 hours long!
