The film is overlong and unfortunately drags a bit, but I have to admit that it's very endearing. The Five-Year Engagement's wonderful cast, Allison Brie, Chris Pratt, Jason Segel, and Emily Blunt, just work so incredibly well with each other, it's one of the best perks of the film.
Despite the screenplay being overlong, the characters have great chemistry, and there are certainly many funny and sweet moments, as any good rom-com should have.
