Review of The Fisher King (1991) by Ryan M — 11 Feb 2008
If I remember correctly, this was one of Robin William's first semi-serious roles. Then again, how hard could it be for Robin Williams to play a crazed hobo on a Don Quixote style adventure. The film packs a powerful spiritual message, but never grows to overbearing with sentimentality.
There are a couple moments, but the film works overall.
