Review of The Fisher King (1991) by Jon W — 06 Sep 2008

One of those movies that is both rather sad and depressing yet has a happy enough ending to make up for it. There's a little bit of schmaltz at the end, but overall it is quite good. The acting is pretty good all around, William's main-ness seems more acceptable though because his character is in fact crazy.

Not really a comedy, though often billed as one, it is more of a sad-ish drama with a number of Gilliam fueled crazy moments thrown in.
