Review of The Fisher King (1991) by Ross M — 01 Feb 2009
After speaking with a caller on his radio show, that same caller goes to a bar and kills seven people and himself. Three years on and the DJ, played by Jeff Bridges (Ironman, The Big Lebowski) is a suicidal drunk, and while trying to kill himself, he is saved by a crazed homeless man (Robin Williams). It turns out that Williams was not only in the bar, but his wife was one of the victims. Upon learning this, Bridges sets out to help Williams turn his life around.
Directed by Terry Gillaim ()Time Bandits, Twelve Monkeys, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas).
