A bizarre journey with a predictable plot. The touches of Gilliam genius served to leave me feeling that there was a lot missing from this film. The unexamined characters made little sense in their own journeys and the story felt disjointed as it jerked toward a happy ending.
A seemingly 'can't-lose' combination of Jeff Bridges and Robin Williams in Gilliam's world of magic was lost on this film.
