Terrible action movie that totally undermines the point of the Purge movies. I'd go into more detail but I'll try to keep it spoiler lite. The other movies are about everyday monsters waiting for a day to come out and sow chaos.
This movie contradicts that by indicating that most people don't actually want to purge, they just get shot up by mercs or the criminally insane. I did not expect full auto gunfights and tons of explosions.
I thought this was a horror franchise?
