I liked the first two Purge films and could at least take part three with a grain of salt, but the fourth installment is just ignorant, mean-spirited, boring, and stupid on a dangerous scale. I never blame movies for what happens in real life, but The First Purge is idiot fuel and if the wrong angry person sees it, the consequences could be severe.
