Review of The First Purge (2018) by Will K — 10 Jul 2018
Even though it is saying much, but I think the First Purge is the best Purge. There were very few scary scenes as the whole film was more action based. The action was pretty good with an absolute badass in Y'lan Noel.
There were of course major plot holes that couldn't be ignored and questionable actions taken by characters, but that was to be expected. It is a good mindless watch, with surprisingly decent action and fights.
The acting was on par with the rest of the franchise.
