You wouldn't imagine such an inspiring story to come about and to be made into such a beautiful movie. The First Grader had just the right amount of historical references, emotions, and melodrama. The screenplay was absolutely impeccable and the actors played their roles well.
The only problem I had was with the length. The emotion was present, but it wasn't long enough for me to experience it all. Wonderful movie nevertheless.
