Review of The First Grader (2010) by Aliya R — 05 Jan 2013

I loved this movie, even though I had to close my eyes during some of the torture scenes, because it was so authentic. It is an incredible, and true story about one man's quest for redemption and acknowledgment, and the people that both support him and block him in his path.

The children were particularly wonderful, as was the actress who played the teacher.
