Review of The Firm (1993) by Alexa V — 25 Aug 2007
Memphis has never looked so clean and gorgeous as it does here. (Even Mud Island manages to look somewhat glamorous.) Great cast with Hackman, Busey, and Hunter at the tops of their games. Grisham's book reads more like a screenplay and Pollock is clever enough to know not to get in the way.
The ending is a bit blah but an effective thriller nonetheless.
