Review of The Firm (1993) by Erik W — 15 Nov 2007
Sydney Pollack produces another hit with this film based on John Grisham's novel. Tom Cruise is great as the fresh out of college lawyer who goes to work for a huge but mysterious law firm in Memphis. Gene Hackman is good as he always is and so is Jeanne Tripplehorn. I was also surprised to find Gary Busey playing a small role in this film and does it great.
One thing I was impressed with was Dave Grusin's music score which took some getting used to but it's excellent.
